Byhalia Elementary students enjoyed getting a signed copy of “Up North, Down South: City Folk Meet Country Folk. During the event Katina’s Klassroom Founder and Author, Katina Rankin, read her children’s book to the kids and gave every third grader a signed copy. The day’s teachable message was we are more alike than different.

Dunbar Elementary School is in Orange Mound (Memphis) Tennessee. Only one grocery store services the neighborhood miles away from the school. With the coronavirus pandemic shining the light even brighter on food insecurity, children received food boxes filled with food to put on the table just in time for Christmas.
