Katina’s Klassroom focuses on nourishment for the mind (reading), body (food and health) and soul (spiritual insight). Thus, boards members stopped by a church in central Mississippi (Mt. Zion M.B. Church) to deliver food, books, and writing utensils to children the 2021 holiday season.
Dunbar Elementary School is in Orange Mound (Memphis) Tennessee. Only one grocery store services the neighborhood miles away from the school. With the coronavirus pandemic shining the light even brighter on food insecurity, children received food boxes filled with food to put on the table just in time for Christmas.
